A love of good food (and each other) inspired Joel & Britta Jackson to create Twist Catering Company, a full-service catering company. After graduating with a degree in culinary arts from Spokane community college in 2006, Chef Joel began his culinary careers working long hours in restaurant kitchens, After moving to Seattle, he quickly moved up and worked in some notable restaurants, Daniels Broiler, Portage bay café, Aqua by el gaucho, The Space Needle, and The Black Duck. Britta started out her career in hospitality, where she learned the ins and outs of fast placed hotels and restaurants, but also her real love and passion for weddings. She launched her Wedding Planning business
Chef Joel was working long days and nights, so they never saw each other. As a way to spend more time together and still cook for a living, they started their own company. Chef Joel had seen first hand the success his wife had created with her own business and knew the two of them combined would be even better. They had many years to develop a vision of their own business. This vision has become a reality and Twist Catering was established. Our mission is to create an experience for our clients unparalleled in quality, service and presentation.
